How do I know if a railing is compatible with my mezzanine? And with other surfaces?

Compatibility with our mezzanines

It is important that the railing range matches the mezzanine range where it will be installed.

In the specifications for each railing, you will find a drop-down menu where you can select the available range and height. To ensure a perfect fit, choose a railing from the same range as your mezzanine. Always check this selector before adding to your cart.

The main product image shows which ranges are available for each model, so you can quickly see which ones fit your mezzanine.

Compatibility with other surfaces

If you wish to install the railing on surfaces, it is important to ensure that the fixing is stable and secure. Check that the surface can support the intended use, that the anchors are suitable and that the railing is secure before use.

Types of anchors available:

  • Plate anchor: installed directly on the surface, ideal for flat floors or platforms.
  • Side anchor: attaches to the edge of the mezzanine or platform, useful when the top surface cannot be drilled.

Tips for safe installation:

  • Verify that the surface is firm and sturdy (solid wood, concrete, brick, or metal).
  • Use compatible, high-quality screws or anchors depending on the type of installation.
  • Check that the railing is straight and level before securing it permanently.
  • Perform periodic stability checks after installation.

Note: These railings have been designed and tested for anchoring to Tecrostar mezzanines. Installation on other surfaces is the responsibility of the installer.
